High School Scholarship
The SDFM Redstone-Huntsville Chapter's mission is to enhance professional skills and ethical standards in financial practices for a brighter future in defense financial management.

A key part of this mission is supporting the next generation of financial management professionals by empowering student’s educational journeys through scholarships.
​
SDFM RSA/HSV is committed to awarding graduating high school seniors and active college students who have shown exemplary leadership and service in their community, received outstanding scholastic achievements, have experienced financial hardship and are interested in continuing their education in STEM, Accounting, Acquisition, Business, or Finance disciplines.
​
This chapter has a commitment to students as they prepare for their future, and we look forward to continuing this legacy.

2026-2027 Announcement
The Society of Defense Financial Management Redstone Arsenal-Huntsville Chapter is pleased to announce that applications are now open for our annual chapter high school scholarships. We are committed to supporting the next generation of financial management professionals and will award up to $2,000.00 at the June 2026 SDFM Awards and Scholarship Recognition Ceremony.

The scholarship application window will open 15 January 2026 and close on 15 March 2026 at 11:59 PM CST.

Application and required documents must be submitted by the submission deadline to earlycareerist.sdfm@gmail.com to be considered.

Please submit the following required documents via email as part of the application process:
-Most recent official academic transcript
-Two academic letters of recommendation on official letterhead, signed and dated
-Copy of standardized test score(s), supporting score cited on application (ACT or SAT)
-College acceptance correspondence (acceptance letter or email)
